Have all of your current pets spayed or neutered.  Animals that are sterilized live longer, healthier lives and are generally less aggressive than unaltered animals.  Low cost spay/neuter programs are available for those owners who cannot afford to pay the full cost of the procedure.  Two clinics that specialize in low cost spay and neuter are:

Every day, 10,000 puppies and kittens are born in the U.S., many of whom are unwanted and will end up euthanized simply for being born.  Help CITC stop the killing.

Donate cat supplies (new toys, litter pans, scoops, etc.), cleaning supplies (i.e.-bleach, sponges, paper towels) or make a monetary donation to CITC.  Although we charge a fee for adoptions, we spend thousands of additional dollars every year.  The adoption fees are not nearly enough to make up for what we spend.  Monetary donations as small as $5 can help buy cat food or deworming medicine.  For $10, we can treat one cat for ear mites.  For $40, we can spay or neuter a cat and $50 will buy a tray of distemper vaccines.

Volunteer your time and resources.  CITC is always looking for people to clean cages, help at adoptions and foster cats in their homes for us.  All that’s required is compassion, a desire to make a difference and a love of cats!
