| In the Spring each year,
Madisonville hosts a garden show at Town
Hall. It is sponsored by the Madisonville
Garden Club which assists the town of
Madisonville in beautification and civic
projects.
The Garden Show features plants and garden
products from various vendors, a flower show
conducted by the Garden Club, and speakers
on Orchids, Wild Birds, Native Plants,
Antique Roses, and Bamboo which is very
popular now. Master Gardeners are on hand to
answer questions, and door prizes and raffle
prizes are awarded.
Entertainment is usually provided and
proceeds from the Show support the project
of marking the great oak trees which are
registered and named for the Madisonville
mayors. |
