| Santa arrives in Madisonville
every year by boat! The Jolly 'Ol Man visits
the children of Madisonville at the
beginning of December.
The Madisonville Garden Club will host
Santa on the River on December 7, 2008 from
2 to 4 p.m. at Madisonville Town Hall.
The Mandeville High show choir will
perform on the riverfront from 1:30 to 2
p.m. as everyone awaits Santa's arrival by
boat. Santa will be welcomed to the city by
the mayor at 2 p.m. Doors to Santa's
workshop will open after his arrival. All
activities are free. There will be cookie
decorating, letters to Santa, jewelry making
and stories by Mrs. Claus. |
